David Biallowons

I am a graduate psychologist and licensed psychotherapist with a specialization in depth psychology. In my therapeutic work, I rely on current scientific findings regarding the effectiveness of psychotherapy. It is particularly important to me to create an atmosphere of openness, authenticity, and trust. This provides a foundation for jointly recognizing and working through your automatic and unconscious patterns of experience, interaction, and behavior using various psychotherapeutic methods and techniques.

I completed my psychology studies at the University of Landau with a focus on clinical psychology and neuroscience. Additionally, I expanded my knowledge through advanced training in humanistic psychology at the Esalen Institute in California. I gained professional experience at the Oberberg Clinic, with a focus on psychosomatic disorders and addiction. Further stages of my career included the psychiatric department of the Charité in Berlin and the rehabilitation clinic Am Park in Bad Steben.

I have a special interest in mindfulness in psychotherapy and completed a two-year advanced training program at the Oberberg Academy in this field. At the South German Academy for Psychotherapy, I received comprehensive training in depth psychology and depth-psychologically based group therapy. Since 2018, I have continued to expand my expertise in trauma therapy and EMDR through training with EMDRIA Germany. Since 2021, I have also been enriching my therapeutic repertoire with training in body psychotherapy at the IFK in Berlin.

Sebastian Becker

After completing my degree in psychology, I worked as a family support worker, with my primary focus on safeguarding the welfare of children. Particularly impactful for me was the assessment of possible reunification of children placed in out-of-home care with their families of origin. Since 2019, I have also been teaching attachment-theoretical modules as a freelance lecturer at various vocational schools for early years educators in Berlin. I gained clinical experience through my work in acute psychiatry with psychotic patients at the Alexianer Hospital St. Joseph in Berlin-Weißensee. Through my own presentations and contributions, I also examine the influence of digital media on the capacity to internalise interpersonal relationships (DGPT Conference 2025).

Through my seven-year training as a depth-psychologically oriented psychotherapist and psychoanalyst at the IFP Potsdam, I was able to gain insights into a wide range of layers of psychic life. These include forms of experience and behaviour that can be well described through diagnostic categories.

However, when diagnoses become relationship-less certainties that seek to prove themselves, their value diminishes. Other layers of psychic life only gain expression through interpersonal encounters. It is through these encounters that current patterns can be understood within their biographical context.

Before individual dramas can be put into words, they usually seek repetition. To identify these repetitions, time is required. Contrary to the trend towards quick solutions, this offers a deeper possibility of moving from being driven into a more personal and authentic form of understanding. Such a process is often accompanied by a painful stock-taking that has the potential to loosen previously held certainties.

Alongside all these levels of reflection, I consider it essential that any psychological or counselling approach ultimately leads to daring more of life itself, as life wishes to be lived in all its qualities.

Whatever point of entry you choose in exploring psychological distress, this step already constitutes an act of individual self-empowerment and therefore commands my deepest respect.

Systemische Paar-Therapeutin Ewa Blaszczyk Psychologin

Ewa Błaszczyk

I am a licensed psychological psychotherapist (systemic therapy), group therapist, and family therapist (DGSF).

With my systemic background, I focus both on your inner experience and your relationships with others. I support you in getting to know your inner system more deeply – with mindfulness, creativity, and curiosity. In therapy, I enjoy working with symbols and experiential methods. I firmly believe that every person possesses a wide range of resources that, with the right support, can be (re)discovered and strengthened.

In my practice, I offer psychotherapy for adults. A particular feature of my work is that you can bring significant others to your sessions – such as partners, family members, or close friends. Joint conversations can not only help clarify acute conflicts, but also broaden the perspective on existing challenges through the insights and impulses of those present – making new solutions possible.

Before joining the practice in Friedrichshain, I gained valuable experience in a variety of settings – including outpatient youth services, an addiction clinic in Berlin, acute psychiatry in Neubrandenburg, and the outpatient psychotherapy clinic of the ISTB Institute in Berlin.

In my work, a relationship based on mutual respect is especially important to me. Using a resource- and solution-focused approach, I support you in unfolding your potential and taking the first concrete steps toward a self-directed future.

Felicitas Zschoche

My approach as a systemic psychotherapist is shaped by a comprehensive and resource-oriented view of people and their environments: we all move within complex relationship networks—family, work, friendships, and society. I do not see symptoms or crises as ‘disorders,’ but often as creative attempts by individuals to find solutions within a system that has fallen out of balance. Even in individual psychotherapy, I often invite important people in the client’s life, such as partners or family members, to accompany change processes. The systemic approach is deeply rooted in the diversity of perspectives, creating a kaleidoscope of possible solutions.

I completed my psychology studies in Finland and Australia, and lived in Indonesia and Morocco—driven by a deep curiosity for different life realities and cultural perspectives. This openness continues to shape my therapeutic approach today. I place great importance on creating a warm and trusting atmosphere. Valuing previous coping strategies is as central as exploring new perspectives together. I enjoy using interventions that help bring inner experiences into the shared space—making them tangible and understandable. I believe that, in all depth, there is sometimes also room for a little humor.

I have gained professional experience as a primary therapist in a psychosomatic rehabilitation clinic in Waren Müritz, with a focus on trauma-related disorders, depressive illnesses, and emotional instability. Group programs such as skills training, trauma education, and depression management were part of my daily work, as was intensive one-on-one support during major life transitions.

In addition, I worked as head psychologist in a Berlin shared accommodation for refugees, supporting people from diverse backgrounds in orienting themselves in a new country and building stability. In my work in assisted living for young adults, I focused on helping clients develop more self-confidence and agency in their daily lives.

If you are looking for a psychotherapist in Berlin who can act as an ‘impulse-giver’ on your new path, I look forward to meeting you.
