After contacting us by phone or email, we will arrange an initial appointment for diagnostics and getting to know each other. Usually, private health insurance or government aid (Beihilfe) covers the cost of these initial sessions without requiring prior approval. Clients insured with BAHN-BKK are kindly asked to bring a referral for psychotherapy from a medical doctor to the first session.
The first session serves not only to get to know each other but also to conduct a diagnostic assessment. It may result in a therapy recommendation. Together we will clarify your expectations and discuss possible obstacles to psychotherapy. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and make an informed decision about starting the trial phase (probatorik).
During the trial sessions, we conduct a more in-depth diagnostic evaluation and take a biographical history. We explore how your current difficulties are connected to your life circumstances and personal development. This phase helps you define your therapy goals and areas where you want change. Therapeutically, this time is used to develop an individualized treatment plan.
At the end of this phase, which can include up to four sessions, we will jointly decide whether to begin psychotherapy. If we agree to work together, we will gladly support you in applying for cost coverage with your health insurance, if needed.
Schedule an appointment now, send us an email, or call us. We are happy to support you personally!
